Wouldn’t it be great if you could…
Sky over your opponents with a head-turning vertical jump?
Finish through contact against bigger, taller players?
Blow past defenders with ankle-breaking speed?
Let me introduce myself…
My name is Adam Vogel. I’m a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and the owner of Pure Performance Training.
For over a decade, my team and I have helped thousands of athletes dramatically improve their speed and get stronger and quicker, all while avoiding costly injuries.
The truth is that it takes more than skill and talent to compete at the elite level. The best players aren’t one-trick ponies.
They’re “total package” athletes.
Becoming the total package
Why do so many players struggle to reach the next level while others become dominant athletes?
Making the leap from good to great isn’t just about vertical jump and sprint times but also about mobility, coordination, strength, and agility.
Unfortunately, the amount of confusing and contradictory information online makes it difficult to separate the signal from the noise.
For many players, that can mean the difference between:
Making varsity vs. being stuck on JV
Being a starter vs. sitting on the bench
Controlling the game vs. feeling outmatched
Many fields have shone their flashlights into different parts of the athletic development cave, but the work is siloed and incomplete.
This puts us in a position to play a completely different game.
Our multidisciplinary “Dream Team” examines problems from every angle, connecting the dots to create dominant athletes who overwhelm the competition.
If you’re the type of person who likes to control your destiny, fix what’s broken, and believe that no matter the circumstances, something can always be done to improve.
Then, let me introduce you to our basketball training program, Performance Longevity.
Performance Longevity
Maximize your athleticism now and prepare your body to perform for years to come
Strong isn’t enough
Any program can pile on enough training to make an athlete stronger.
But it’s not just about strength…
It’s also about longevity and durability — improving year-over-year.
You shouldn’t have to wait until college to learn how to train the RIGHT WAY.
That’s why we start with a comprehensive evaluation to meet each player where they are.
Performance Longevity unfolds in three phases. Each block has a distinct focus scientifically designed to accelerate your results while avoiding injuries.
PHASE ONE: ALIGNMENT
We’ll establish a baseline of movement skills that build your foundation. Volume is high with a focus on balance, strength, and endurance.
You’ll discover:
– How to properly warm up using strategic soft-tissue and mobility drills to bulletproof your body and stay healthy all season.
– Tailored exercises for building base levels of strength to jump higher and dominate in the paint
– The secret to absorbing and transferring force when changing directions
PHASE TWO: ADAPTATION
As you move and perform at higher levels, you’ll accumulate more training volume with increased intensity.
You’ll discover:
– The keys to building explosive power for driving the lane and creating breakaway speed
– Our top three methods for building an enormous aerobic engine to improve endurance and enhance recovery between games
– The secrets to building “ankle-breaking” multi-directional speed
PHASE THREE: EVOLUTION
Phase Three combines all program elements to “lock in” strength gains
You’ll discover:
– The how to use “rebound” days to expedite recovery, guaranteeing continuous progress while avoiding overtraining
– Straightforward lifestyle, nutrition, and hydration strategies to carry you into postseason play
– How to keep the momentum going and overcome obstacles that have derailed you in the past
