Adam Vogel

 

Bio

Adam is the founder of Pure Performance Training. He has been involved in the implementation and administration of Strength and Conditioning programs for over ten years.

Adam specializes in corrective exercise for the post-rehabilitative population, with a focus on restoring functional movement patterns, postural equilibrium, and joint stabilization.

BJ BAKER

 

Bio

BJ has been involved in the training, preparation, nutritional counseling, and rehabilitation of athletes in virtually every sport. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education/Athletic Training from Cortland State University and a Master’s Degree in Exercise Science and Sports Medicine from Ithaca College.

BJ has served on the Athletic Training staff at Cornell University (Graduate Assistant), Harvard University (Athletic Trainer), New England Blazers Major Indoor Lacrosse League (Head Athletic Trainer), Brine Lacrosse Club, and was the first Conditioning Coordinator for the Boston Red Sox.

SAM STURGIS

 

Bio

Sam holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training from Quinnipiac University and a Master’s Degree in Strength and Conditioning from Springfield College.

Sam works primarily with baseball athletes but also specializes in working with clients and athletes rehabilitating from injury. During his time on staff, Sam has developed a successful off-season Baseball Strength & Conditioning program with several local baseball teams.

Nick Downing

 

Bio

Nick began his personal training career in 2005 after completing his final season playing Major League Soccer. Nick was the New England Revolution’s first pick in the 2001 Major League Soccer Super-Draft and played three seasons with the Revs.

Nick was the head Strength and Conditioning Coach for New England Revolution from 2011-2016.  

He focuses his efforts on the design and implementation of sport-specific strength training programs, youth fitness, and soccer-specific skill development. 

Conor Nordengren

 

Bio

Conor is a licensed Physical Therapist and Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach who utilizes his diverse skill set to help clients return to their desired level of function. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts Lowell with his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and has been in the Strength and Conditioning field since 2010.

Conor respects the complexity of the human body and its multi-system influences on pain and movement. He specializes in progressing clients along the rehabilitation-to-performance spectrum that ultimately leads to increased resilience and an improved quality of life.

Kyle Coogan

 

Bio

Kyle is an accomplished Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He specializes in sports performance training and injury prevention. He’s worked with athletes ranging from high school to NHL and MLB players.

He also has “skin in the game,” placing at national-level powerlifting competitions, such as the Arnold Sports Festival. He also has a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition.

When he’s not in the gym coaching or training, Kyle enjoys spending time with his husky, Amber, playing tennis, and appreciates a good cup of black coffee.
