Adam is the founder of Pure Performance Training. He has been involved in the implementation and administration of Strength and Conditioning programs for over ten years. While earning his Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern University, Adam began his training career working with members of the University’s football, hockey, and lacrosse teams. From there he expanded into developing strength-training programs for the general population and corrective-exercise programs for post-rehabilitative patients.
Upon graduation, Adam became the Director of Personal Training for Crunch Fitness in downtown Boston. There he was featured in articles for the Boston Globe, the Weekly Dig, and was named one of the Top Ten Personal Trainers in Boston by Scene Magazine.
After leaving Crunch Fitness, Adam took a role as the Director of Training and Development at a Physical Therapy and Sports Conditioning practice where he worked with professional athletes from the New England Patriots, Atlanta Thrashes and New England Revolution, as well as high school and collegiate athletes from the area. Adam specializes in corrective exercise for the post-rehabilitative population, with a focus on restoring functional movement patterns, postural equilibrium, and joint stabilization.
He is a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) through the International Sports Science Association, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, an Exercise Coach (EC) through the Corrective and Holistic Exercise Kinesiology Institute in San Diego, a certified Functional Movement Screening Specialist (FMS), and Level 1 (KBC) Kettlebell Instructor.
