Bethany graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2000 with a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training. After graduation, she worked at a Physical Therapy clinic in Connecticut aiding in the rehabilitation of orthopedic injuries. At the time, she also began working with high school level athletes and teams as a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and a Level 1 (KBC) Kettlebell Instructor. She transitioned into the personal training field four years ago.
As a former two-sport athlete, competing in hammer throwing and bobsledding, Bethany possesses a great deal of practical knowledge in the field of human performance. She was a two-time Collegiate All American at U-Conn in the hammer throw and competed in the track and field Olympic Trials in 2000, 2004, and 2008 and the World Championship in 2005.
She is also a former member of U.S. Olympic Bobsled Team having competed as a brakeman on the World Cup circuit in 2002, 2005 and 2006, and at the 2006 Olympics in Turin, Italy.
Bethany works with people of all levels and all ages, specializing in corrective exercise to assist people with injuries and/or pain transition back into fitness programs.
